The Omega Power Twenty program is a monthly prayer conference call for Omega Men only. The intent of the program is to allow an avenue for members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to dwell together in unity to pray. The call is scheduled for the last Friday of every month at 6am Central/ 7am Eastern/ 5am Mountain/ 4am Pacific. During the call, specific Brothers lead prayers on different subjects, as well as pray over special prayer requests that are made by Brothers on the call. The call lasts approximately twenty minutes.

Brother Clint Boyd, Jr., Chaplain of Gamma Phi Chapter in Nashville, TN, initiated the monthly benevolence program in March 2010. He facilitates the calls and invites three prayer warriors to lead prayers on each call. “When God first gave me the vision for the prayer call, I saw it as a way to shorten the distance between Brothers by making it like a virtual office. There’s no need to travel. Brothers can call in from anywhere in the world and connect with other Brothers who love the Lord,” he said.

To date, 67 different prayer warriors have lifted prayers to God on behalf of the Brothers and their loved ones. Prayers have been offered on a variety of subjects including healthy marriages, the wisdom to make right and wise decisions, our nation’s leaders, finances, protection of the undergraduate Brothers, the Fraternity, victims of natural and man-made disasters, peace in the midst of battles, our soldiers in harm’s way, perseverance, thanksgiving, a growing relationship with God, physical, mental and spiritual health, safety for children while on summer break from school, the first 100 years in Omega, the next 100 years in Omega, new beginnings, reclamation, the homeless, those affected by cancer, and our fallen Omega Brothers.
